Principal’s Message 2026

At Waterway Primary, our vision remains clear and steadfast—to develop each child to be a lifelong learner and a gracious citizen. As we continue to grow, we are committed to nurturing in our students the competencies needed for the future, while strengthening a growth and benefit mindset that empowers them to thrive in an ever-changing world.

We place strong emphasis on our core values of Responsibility, Integrity, Self-discipline, and Empathy (RISE), ensuring that every student remains grounded in values and develops a heart to serve others.

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate our 10th anniversary—a significant milestone that reflects a decade of dedication, growth, and partnership. Over the past ten years, Waterway Primary has built a vibrant learning community where young minds are nurtured, and character is shaped with purpose. As we commemorate this journey, we also reaffirm our commitment to continually refresh our programmes so they remain student-centric and future-focused.

Our distinctive programmes, such as the Applied Learning Programme (ALP) in Maker Education and innovation and the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) to develop our students to be thought leaders, continue to provide students with opportunities to develop critical thinking, creativity, and leadership. These experiences lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and prepare our students to contribute meaningfully to society.

As we celebrate this milestone, I would also like to express my heartfelt appreciation to our parents and partners for your unwavering support. Your close collaboration with our teachers has been instrumental in enriching the educational journey of every child. Together, we have built a strong community, and I look forward to strengthening this partnership in the years ahead.
